Opening Fluke Day 5/1/22

The Shinnecock Canal is filled with plenty of baitfish as well as a few weakfish, fluke, and some sea robins. Striper action in the back bays and shallows has been excellent this past week with more keepers showing up on a daily basis. In the Peconics the porgy bite is growing all around Jessup's Neck and Robins Island. The fluke action hasn't started yet, but with warmer days in the forecast it should be here real quick.
