Welcome to Summer! Don't forget our fallen veterans
Just remember as you go out this weekend; to give thanks to those who can't be here so that you can.
Now, on to the fishing.
Peconic Bay: The Greenlawns has been producing some quality fluke along with some blues and a few stripers too. Rodgers Rock and Jessups Neck has got an awesome porgy bite. Weakfish are still around, Just run up into the smaller creeks and inlets and you'll find them.
Shinnecock Canal: Fluke, searobins, blowfish, bluefish, and even a few striped bass are all running in there.
Ponquogue Bridge: Mostly just bluefish here; but the fluke are starting to make a showing. And the bass are being taken at night.
Shinnecock Bay: Rampasture point and the East cut have got plenty of fluke and keepers too.
Shinnecock Inlet: Lots of blues along with some fluke and stripers if you can get to the bottom.
Ocean: If conditions allow; there should be some fluke out here in the usual haunts.(cheese house, "C" bouy, etc.)
Tight lines.
