Stripers Opens Tomorrow

The season is upon us. Striped bass can again be a staple on your table or your camera (the latter would be better). The reports are trickling in that there have been a few caught at Smith's Point bridge along with some blues mixed in. Jamica Bay seems to be holding a good number of fish. As of late the local reports are zilch. A few guys have been trying the local early spots to no avail.

On a good note, I did hear of a few winter flounder caught in the Quogue canal a couple of days ago.

We are now open 7 days (closed for Easter Sunday) and the store is filling with products as I write. Tsunami, St. Croix, Daiwa SP's and the new Yo-Zuri Mag Darters are all in stock; along with all of our custom tied rigs and be sure to check out our new offshore department in the coming weeks.
