Shinnecock Inlet: Some keeper size stripers are being taken here. Mostly on bucktails from the rocks or drifting live eels at night. There has been a decent pick on the blackfish here as well.
Ponquogue Bridge: The night bite has been excellent here with bass to 30 lbs coming up. Again on bucktails and eels. Porgies and seabass mixed in too.
Shinnecock Canal: Small stripers (12-18") stacked up in there; please handle them carefully, it's next years crop. Also still catching seabass and porgies at the north end from the rocks.
Ocean Beaches: The beaches to the east of Shinnecock are hold fish while the western beaches are setting up some nice structure but have no fish YET.
Ocean: The reef and wrecks out front are holding good numbers of blackfish, seabass and porgies along with some cod and ling, a nice mixed bag to take home.
