With this week's warm weather, the bite has definitely improved. Striped bass are being caught in the back bays and creeks but there are a few along the ocean beach and inlets too.The striper's have been taking white 3/4 oz. bucktails as well as bone and chicken scratch swimming plugs. The Ponquogue bridge has got some keeper bass; most are falling to bucktails and small rubber baits ,but clams are working too.
